Rise of the Runelords
The small town of Sandpoint is home to a sleepy population of a thousand simple folk—traders, fishers, hunters, and all manner of interesting characters call the place home. Accustomed to cordial nods and easy conversations with neighbors, Sandpoint has recently been plagued by tragedy. The Late Unpleasantness is still fresh in the townsfolk’s minds, though they speak of it only in hushed whispers, eager to forget the black stain on the history of a town where goodly folk live.
Trouble has begun brewing in Sandpoint, and only our heroes have the means to put an end to a mounting threat that could consume all of Varisia—an ancient civilization thought long forgotten and fueled by sin.
